GatorMOG – Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Morgan’s 1962 Le Mans Win – Naples Overnight

Concept – GatorMOG Summer Outing – Long weekend.  The Morgan Class Victory at Le Mans in 1962 occurred on June 24^th.  This year June 24^th is a Friday and in Florida, it is getting hot in June.  So, for us, that means a meandering drive to Naples on the back roads.  For the Central Florida folks, it’s about ~5-5.5 Hours.  Perhaps we can work out some sort of convoy south?

I’d guess we’ll get there mid to late afternoon, check in to the hotel and find the bar and then find dinner!

Make sure you send an email RSVP to Mark Braunstein (series1@cfl.rr.com) to let him know that you are attending the event. He needs this for the restaurants and hotel head counts. (Oh, and the REVS!)

We have a block of rooms being held under the group code of ‘Morgan.’  If you are participating, you need to make your own reservations, so call and select a room appropriate for you.  The block of rooms will only be held until May 24^th and then they will be released.  If you wait too long, your choices of room types will be limited.  (They have several types of rooms available.)   

Dinner – Friday Night (24 June) – TBD (Several Choices at the Hotel or Near By)

Breakfast – The hotel has a restaurant.

Depart for REVS Institute by 0945 (they open at 1000).  2500 Horseshoe Drive S., Naples, Florida 34104.  No need to buy a ticket from the REVS, we already have tickets (cheaper to buy from us!)   

We do have to tell the REVS exactly how many folks to expect, so please let Mark B. know if you intend to participate.
